Planning: RAA provides visualized concept studies and interpretive master plans to institutions. We assess and interpret the institution's assets and collections as well as local, regional, and national assets, and deliver a clear and concise long-term vision. We often work with developers, city and state planning agencies, the chamber of commerce, and the office of tourism. Planning studies are integrated with urban renewal projects when applicable.

Exhibit Design: RAA has a comprehensive, focused approach to exhibit design that is married to the architectural schedule and process. Exhibit design services can be scaled to fit the needs of large, multimillion-dollar projects as well as smaller projects, renovations, and additions. We consider projects of all scales.

Corporate Commissions: RAA services corporate clients in the same manner as institutions. The firm has designed museums on corporate history, experiential environments that enhance brand identity, and smaller-scale "stage sets" for temporal events.

Interactive Design: RAA develops, directs, and produces film and interactive media pieces in installation environments of all kinds. The firm considers media and interactives as well as the environment in which they will be housed. RAA has a long history of working with archives and databases through its institutional work. It is well versed in integrating, organizing, and allowing the public to interact with complex data and stories.

Fund-Raising: RAA provides a number of services that facilitate fund-raising. Ralph Appelbaum is often a speaker, and the voice of a project at fund-raising events. In addition, RAA can produce print pieces, media segments, and website projects that can be used for fund-raising and in grant applications.

Consulting: Ralph Appelbaum and members of the staff are available for tailored consultations. Such engagements are negotiated individually, based on the needs of the client.
