The first museum dedicated to the language of a country (Brazil) is now installed in the oldest train station in Sao Paulo. Its features include a Language Plaza, celebrating Brazil's literary and other arts in an immersive audiovisual environment; a media wall, 120 meters in length, taking visitors on a metaphorical train journey through the country; and a timeline outlining the history and important exchanges among the Portuguese, African, and indigenous traditions and languages. In addition, eight interactive "Lanterns" explore Brazil's languages in depth and Etymology Table allows visitors to play with the creation of words in an innovative, interactive game format.
