The explosion of art and technology during the Ice Age was explored in this major temporary exhibition of 5,000 square feet. It featured casts of cave paintings, original bone sculpture and other artifacts, and a hut made out of mammoth bones (found at a site in the former USSR), which later became part of the Museum's permanent collection.
