The extraordinary stamp collection begun by King George V of England, and belonging to Queen Elizabeth II, was introduced to America in this exhibition celebrating the 50th anniversary of The Queen's coronation. Planned and designed by RAA, the exhibit opened at the new National Postal Museum in our nation's capital. The exhibit's main emphasis is the beginning of a formal postal system in 1840 and its development through 1845.
